LONG'S HORSERADISH REBRANDING & PACKAGE DESIGN

Designed for One Show Competition. The design allows for a more high-end and appealing look while still keeping their German heritage alive, as well as reflecting the 100% pure, fresh, and hand-crafted quality of the products. The new iconic logo represents the historic Central Market of Lancaster, PA, the family business location for four generations, "where all the freshness comes from". Work was featured in The Student Spotlight, check it out on The DieLine.

A NEW SPIN ON EPSON INK PACKAGING

As the consumers walk down the printers' ink aisle for purchase, their eyes wander in order - the brand, the ink colors, and the cartridge number/compatible printer series. Thus, I approached the new design to be more simplified yet functional, so that these elements can easily be recognized at the first glance. The folding reassures the consumer to get through the "unpacking" process quickly and get to their cartridges with less hassle and frustration. Serving as the after-life usage, the redesigned package can practically also be reused for return/exchange or for cartridge recycling. Made from eco-friendly recycled material, and redesigned to be more fitted to minimize wastes.
